So after the waves finally arrived AND the sun was shining...the roxy site at the Cote de Basques was packed!  People enjoying the sun and the competition, hanging out at the beach, a perfect start to the weekend!

The evening was welcomed in with Betty Kiwi at the Roxy lounge last night.  A perfect warm up, for the concert at Port Vieux, with a melodic and soft vocals from the girls.

People crowded round to chill and absorb the music and the atmosphere around on the site.  Good spirits and motivated from the perfect weather and the start of the competition.
