2008 european ChaMpion 2008 Coline is one of Europe's top woman longboarders. Born in La Rochelle, she quickly got used to travelling with her parents. In 2001, the family left Charente Maritime to set up home in Reunion. Introduced to surfi ng by her father and brother on the Ile de Ré, Coline found that the Indian Ocean offered the perfect conditions for indulging her passion for surfing to the max. She entered her fi rst regional competitions in 2002 and qualified for the French Championships in 2003, fi nishing in third place. After graduating high school, she launched herself into science studies and a professional longboarding career. Vice-Champion of France in 2005, she made it into the world Top 20 at the Roxy Jam Biarritz in 2006, and then the international Top 10 the following year. Currently in the third year of a degree course in Biology, Coline is passionate about the environment and is involved with the ARVAM, an association set up to protect coral reefs in Reunion.
