British sailor Samantha Davies, heroine of the Vendée Globe 2008/2009, will be at the Roxy Jam Biarritz with her 60 foot boat, Roxy. Fourth in the prestigious round-the-world single-handed yacht race, sailed non-stop and without assistance, the top-placed woman and British sailor in the race, Sam and her famous spotted boat (which had already won the Vendée Globe twice, with Michel Desjoyaux in 2000 and Vincent Riou in 2004) will be sailing off the Basque Coast throughout the Festival. Autograph signing sessions will be organized at the Roxy Jam Biarritz site.
